Which term is actually right for you
Take one month if you have never used IPTV
We do not run a free trial, and we are straight about why: free trials attract people who collect them and never pay, and the cost of carrying those streams lands on everyone who does. The 1 month plan at $14.99 is the test drive. It is the same service as the two year plan, on the same servers, with the same support. If it does not work in your house, you have spent less than one month of Sling.
Take six months if you watch a sport
6 months at $49.99 covers an entire football season from the first Sunday in September through the Super Bowl, and takes most of a basketball season with it. It is the plan most of our customers land on, which is why it carries the badge.
Take twelve or twenty-four if you have already decided
The long terms exist because they are cheaper for us to run, and we pass that on. Twelve months at $79.99 is $6.67 a month. Two years at $119.99 is $5.00. Beyond that the saving stops being meaningful and you are just paying further ahead than anyone should.
A note on prices that look too good
You will find services advertising $3 a month and lifetime access. Lifetime means the lifetime of that reseller, which in this market is often measured in months. A price has to cover the bandwidth, and bandwidth for a Sunday afternoon in football season is not cheap. Ours is set where it is because it is the price at which we can still answer the phone in January.
